I'd love to share my story with you!
Almost my entire life I used self-sabotage to keep me safe. Safe from being seen, heard and creating loving and honest relationships.
I lived my life for others. Changing who I was to fit in.
This lead me to feeling disempowered and disconnected to myself and the world around me. Depression, stress and anxiety ruled my world. I didn’t know there was any other way.
I was living in an unconscious and reactive state. I thought that life was just something that happened to me, not for me.
I found many ways to numb myself emotionally, mentally and physically. I abused drugs and alcohol, I was in unhealthy relationships, I would binge or deprive myself of food and so on. Until one day I realized I wanted to feel again. I began to commit to a meditation practice, reconnect to my intuition and inner guidance system, live my life for myself rather than living a life for others, take better care of my body, journal and a yoga practice. Through these commitments I began to notice serious transformation and I want to help you do the same.
A FEW MORE THINGS
I am addicted to my morning smoothie which includes plant based protein, kale, cayenne pepper, turmeric, coconut oil and cocoa.
I am a huge dog lover. Grew up with dogs in my family my whole life. I plan on getting a dog of my own sometime in the future.
I love to travel. Over the past 5 years I have explored all corners of the world. From Japan to New Zealand to Europe. I love getting outside of my comfort zone and learning about new cultures and ways of life. I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
The beach is my happy place. Being from Southern California many of my childhood memories are spent at the beach swimming in the Pacific Ocean with my mom and my sister.
I try and make time for the beach once or twice a week.
My yoga mat is where I find my peace and grounding. Yoga teaches me to be patient, strong and humble. I do it daily.
