7 Tips for when your moving through a big life transition
Moving through a big transition in your life? Keep reading...
Moving through big life transitions such as moving, career changes, breakups can leave you feeling ungrounded, anxious and feeling all the feels. Through my personal experience and guiding many clients through these transitions I wanted to share some tips that I’ve found most helpful.
1️⃣ Double down on grounding methods like earthing (putting your bare feet on the ground) or taking epsom salt baths
2️⃣ Journal and get all of your thoughts out- no filter. This will free up mental space and provide you with more peace and clarity 🌻
3️⃣ Have a ritual🕯 where you are officially closing one chapter and opening another. Ex- When moving homes write all the major lessons you learned in the old home and give thanks- don’t forget this part, when we are grateful what what we have/had we attract more of that into our life, and write out what you’d like to experience in the new home 🏡
4️⃣ Move your body, even if it’s just a 10 minute walk
5️⃣ Have compassion for yourself during this time. This is new experience and will likely feel uncomfortable at times and you’re not going to get it right every time
6️⃣ Incorporate moments of play into your day- draw, paint, dance, swim in the ocean
7️⃣ Have support. This could look like speaking with trusted friends or family or hiring support such a coach or therapist.
